The GDS connection style integrates a USB-C connector that runs through the case to the pogo pads in the GDS Uni-Conn adapter. The flat, reinforced pogo pad contacts are made for repeated docking to protect the device's port and collect less dirt, making them easier to clean. An integrated USB Type-C connector on the bottom of the case allows the device to be charged even if you do not have a GDS Powered Uni-Conn Dock available.
