Drop-proof iPad Pro cases
Drop, shock, and scratch-resistant tablet cases ensure your iPad Pro lasts much longer. If a tablet falls or bumps into something, internal components can be irrevocably damaged. This often involves not only material damage but in some cases also data loss.
Improper use, such as placing the iPad Pro unprotected and face down, can cause scratches on the screen. Depending on the depth of these scratches, it may be necessary to replace the entire screen. These costs can amount to more than 600 euros per repair, so an investment in protective tablet cases such as the Otterbox Defender for iPad Pro will pay for itself many times over in the long run.
Anti-theft iPad Pro protective cases
If you want to use a tablet in public spaces (or have it used), it is highly recommended to equip it with anti-theft measures such as camera surveillance and a Joy Factory anti-theft tablet case for your iPad Pro. With a protective case with a lock, the tablet can only be removed by authorized personnel who have the correct key. Compare the cost of a good tablet holder with anti-theft mechanisms to the cost of a new iPad Pro, and you will immediately see why this is an excellent investment.
Waterproof iPad Pro cases
IP-X3 is popularly known as splash-proof, which means water should not leak through if the protective case is sprayed with 10 liters per minute at an angle of 60 to minus 60 degrees. IP-X3 is effective against water and other liquids but is only the lowest categorization in water resistance.
IP-X4 is known as splash-proof and is the same as IP-X3 when it comes to the amount of water this category can handle per minute. However, no water should leak through regardless of the angle from which the case is sprayed.
IP-X5 is the next step up and should be able to handle an additional 2.5 liters of water per minute. This results in protection against spraying of 12.5 liters per minute. This category is popularly known as jet-proof. Cases in this category do not let any trace of water through, regardless of the angle from which the water is sprayed onto the tablet case.
IP-X3 is the highest known category for spraying. This category must withstand 100 liters of water every minute without a single drop penetrating the case. Submerging in water (i.e., true waterproofing) is not yet offered by this category. For submersion, at least the IP-X7 category is required.
IP-X7 is the first category in water resistance that offers the possibility of completely submerging the iPad Pro underwater without damage occurring. Please note that protective cases in this category can be submerged at most 1 meter underwater for a maximum of 30 minutes.
IP-X8 offers you true waterproofing. In this category, it doesn't matter how long the tablet remains submerged underwater; the case will in any case ensure that no single drop of water reaches the tablet. Please note: Although IP-X8 protective cases are indeed 100% waterproof, not all equipment is suitable for deep underwater use. This has to do with the pressure your equipment is subjected to deep underwater. Consult your equipment manufacturer for further information on this.
