If you embed a Samsung tablet in one of our beautiful home automation holders and don't want it to be on full brightness all day, Samsung has a handy setting hidden in their Android menu.
With the "double tap to wake" setting, you tap the screen twice and the tablet wakes up from sleep mode, ready for use!
To find this setting: in the settings menu/advanced features/motions and gestures, you'll find the Double Tap to Wake option. You then need to enable it.
