Using Heckler Windfall as a control panel in an Iroom.
This engineering and project management firm has fully equipped Irooms at several locations. In these Irooms, Avisie has placed three 84" 4K monitors side by side. These Smartboards are interactive/touch and the software application of these Smartboards supports many architectural software applications. By using this setup, engineers and clients can collaboratively review all details. Any errors, schedules, and other incidental points are identified in advance. This increasingly results in projects running more according to plan and a cost reduction of 10-20% can be realized.
Using a custom-developed software application (www.avcontrolapp.com) on the iPad Mini in a Heckler Design Windfall stand, the end-user can control all equipment in the room without multiple remote controls and functions. All necessary control functions are displayed in the iPad application using icons and short function descriptions.
In these rooms, the following are controlled: - 3 x Smartboard touch monitor 84" 4K. Input selection for fixed PC, laptop, and volume control for the monitors - Audio playback and microphone for Lync/Skype for Business - Lighting: LED/fluorescent fixtures and RGB LED strips in the cove - Blackout blinds.
